Today I choose

Choose to forgive

Lift hands from my throat,

Breathe again, live


Today I choose

Choose loving me 

Erase guilt of past wrongs

And pen new stories


Today I choose

Choose to know truth

Even if it means letting go 

Of all known to grow new roots


Today I choose

Choose relationship over being right 

How can I love God whom I can't see 

And hate those in sight?


Today I choose

Choose to be open

To hide behind fear

And pretense is no longer an option


Today is always a choice 

And choose I will, diligently

For the sum of our choices

Is what makes you and me


Prayer: Heavenly Father, you are my Counsel and my direction ↗↘↙➡ You will guide me and say here is the way, walk ye in it. Help me to choose the way of heaven, even when it's hard 😫. Every little choice adds to who I am so help me to choose the attitudes, the mindsets, the characters that make me most like your child 🙏
